From Clear to Paternity
Nom Market was built twenty years ago under the guidance of Hablor Nom, the Hero of the Battle of Kar. Since then it has helped to rejuvenate the town of Kampars Creek to it’s current status as a minor bustling tradepoint.
It is constructed on top of a set of huge wooden piles driven into the Kell Road, which runs 25’ below it. An ingenious system of pulley driven lifts allows the raising and lowering of heavy stacks of goods to and from warehouses built into the structure itself, where fee paying merchants have their wares .
A black market of sorts can be found under Nom Market amongst the warehouses below, but travellers should be wary as commerce has bred the usual assortment of criminals.
